1. Who we are
Auto Auto Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 27 693 564 493) ("Auto Auto Australia", "we", "us", "our") operates this website and checkout platform. We offer extended vehicle warranty and related products as an Authorised Representative of Australian Warranty Network Pty Ltd, trading as AWN Insurance (ABN 78 075 483 206, holder of Australian Financial Services Licence No. 246469), who underwrites and administers the products available for purchase on this platform. Our registered address is 5/403 Pacific Hwy, Artarmon NSW 2064.
2. What information we collect
When you use this platform to check your vehicle's eligibility, get a quote, or purchase a product, we collect:
- your name, email address, and phone number;
- your vehicle's registration number, make, model, year, and odometer reading; and
- payment-related information processed on our behalf by Stripe — we do not receive or store your full card details.
If you contact us directly, we also collect the content of your enquiry and any information you choose to provide in it.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- check your vehicle's eligibility for our products;
- generate and manage quotes;
- process your purchase and pass the details needed to issue your policy to AWN Insurance;
- communicate with you about your order, including confirmations and customer support; and
- where you have given consent, send you marketing communications about our products and offers.
We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you.
4. Disclosure to third parties
We share your information with the following parties, each of whom receives only the information they need to perform their role:
- AWN Insurance — the underwriter and administrator of the products you purchase. AWN receives your name, contact details, and vehicle details in order to issue and administer your policy.
- Stripe — our payment processor. Stripe collects and processes your payment details directly; we do not receive or store your full card number.
- Supabase — our database and hosting provider, which stores your information on our behalf in the Asia-Pacific (Sydney) region.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to any third party.
5. Data storage and security
Your information is stored using Supabase, hosted in the Asia-Pacific (Sydney) region, with encryption in transit and at rest. Access to your information is restricted to personnel who need it to perform their duties. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
6. Your rights
You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to request correction of information that is inaccurate or incomplete, and to request deletion of your information — subject to our legal and regulatory obligations (for example, we may need to retain certain records relating to a policy that has been issued). To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in section 9 below.
7. Cookies and analytics
We use PostHog, a product analytics tool, to understand how customers use this platform and to improve our service. PostHog may collect information such as the pages you visit, the features you use, and general device and browser information. We do not use this information for interest-based advertising, and we do not share it with advertising networks.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The version and date shown on this page indicate when it was last revised.
